Summary
For this project I was tasked with 3D modelling and texturing a commercial product, and then was told to create additional supplementary models in order to create a lived-in, realistic scene. I was responsible for every aspect of this scene: modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing. All done initially using Autodesk Maya.
Process
I started with a sketch of the composition and items I wanted to include in the scene. I then used this sketch as direct reference for the arrangement of items and composition of the render.
Revision
A year later I came back to this project, moved everything to Blender and updated the textures, models, and lighting. Here is the before and after:
