Summary

This project was a culmination of two assignments from two different classes. The first assignment was modelling the controller: a practical application of hard surface modelling. The second assignment was to actually put together an advertisement where we were encouraged to use previously created assets. This was achieved with Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, Blender, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Process

Starting with the modelling process, I heavily referenced Sony's PlayStation 2 controller design. The goal of the modelling assignment was to create a digital replica of an item that already existed in real life through the process of hard surface modeling.
I then storyboarded the advertisement.
The controller had each individual button rigged for animation, which allowed for shots where this functionality was showcased.
