Summary

I was given the task of creating 3 "Low-Poly" models in order to use for the purpose of practicing texture work. I went with a pirate theme. I figured I could get some good practice working with a variety of materials and textures / generators in Substance Painter.
Process

I initially started with quick, rudimentary sketches in order to get an idea for the proportions and designs I had in mind.
I then got to work modelling everything in Autodesk Maya.
These models were then brought into Substance Painter for texturing.
And finally, the models were all imported into Blender, where every object was tested with multiple lighting setups.
I was the happiest with the telescope, so I chose to create a turntable animation for it.
Lastly, I created a render with all objects present.
